GP (Grief Patrol)

Hello everyone. I am now forming this group to fight back the scourge of griefers. If we find an area that was griefed we re-emberse the griefed and block off the area to try to assume who did it. This is going into effect NOW!

Theres a hell of alot of grief. I'm trying to block off all of the areas that have been griefed. I'm sorry for everyones lose.

Ive rolled back the server about 8 hours, can you let me no whether this has got rid of most of the griefed properties. I can always throw the ost upto date world ack up if people want

Ill join i should hopefully have internet by the end of this week :D:D but i have an idea this may sound like the most retarded idea ever but make an area where people are allowed to grief.

My buildings are Ok... I think we have to make our building far from the spawntower ok block them with the res comand.

Another thing we can do is to make the defoult group not to Civilian but to Explorer, the can only take common things like dirt, sand and wood, can built things but can't set home. After one day or if a moderator look them and noticed that they're ok, them they will pass to Civilian.

So, if someone comes, he won't be able to destroy fances or cobblestones or sandstones or woodenpack. If a modetator looks him, talks with him and think that he isn't here to grief, so after one they he'll be able to take cobbleston from ground, so iron, redstone, gold etc...

Yeah man thats a good idea btw is spawn block protected??? Cause it took me and ryan ages to do?

Okay, i like your idea DerobyJ, i'll look into altering the config files later to see whether thats actually possible. I'm not sure i can stop certain groups from interacting with certain block type to that extent with the current plugins. But i'll certainly try.

And yes Unbound, i protected the entire spawn tower when i first installed the residence plugin. It was the first thing i did.

Man my thread lit up over night. What I'm goig to do is set up a office i each city that is in exsistace at the momet. The offices could be grief/mob free areas where new people can hide and such. The main, most spectacular, office will be in the server's spawn city. And possitions are open to everyone.
