Hey logic. Uhh. Today we had 3 new players join the server. They were walking around spawn city and one of them griefed. I'd please request you to remove all traces of the server ip from your channel. If there is any change in the server ip please post here.

no it was the church, ryans estate and bit of my fort

Okay okay, i re-whitelised the server last night. I need to get the protection plugin up and running properly before i make it public again.

What it'll be is your going to have to manually go around the builds you want to protect, use a wand, similar to the wand for world edit, set up a "barrier" then say what type of access you'd like within the protection. ie, allow people to move through it, build on it and such. I opened up the server last night as a test to see how many people would come on and F things up, hence the reason i have a back up running on the server all the time. So if anything major kicks off i can just rollback to before it happened. Chayx is now whitelisted because he seemed okay, unfortunately i wasnt there to witness the griefing. I want to point out, all of you are moderators, which means all of you have the power to ban who ever you wish.

Don't be mean about it. If they break the rules ban them, be ruthless. There are 1000's of people out there that i'm sure would love to play on the server. Theres no need to be relaxed on the griefing rule. They grief, they get banded. Be eagle eyed.

I mainly did this to alert everyone of where I stand. Anyway, thanks for the post logic.

I won't remove the ip off my channel. Its there to promote the server, when i actually manage to make the server secure, i will be opening it up to the public again. Also the server ip is now fixed. It will (or at least should) never change.

There is in fact a residency plugin now installed on the server, but i need to figure out how to use it. It works a lot like the world edit wand, where you designate the area of land you wish to alter, but instead of physically editing the landscape your simply setting up a "barrier" which you can then set ownership rights too (rent, allow certain players to build/edit, allow player to move through the protected area but not allow to alter). Also once i configure the economy plugin and make admin shops work. civilians, builders and such will be able to buy plots of land, which they can then alter themselve, this will allows player to build without worrying about it been destroyed because it will be inside a "residence", which only they will have editing rights too (except moderators and anyone they allow to build, which they have to specify themselves).

If anyone wants to play with the commands type "/res ?". this will bring up the help menu to anyone with moderator rights. I encourage people to have a go with these, anyone with a little expericance with these commands will benefit the server.
